At the time being I'm a computer science student at Faculty of Mathe- matics and Physics of Comenius University Bratislava, Slovakia. My first contacts with the scene date in early '90s. Back then I was a ZX Spectrum user and somehow got in touch with demos. I was very impressed and wanted to try coding some tiny demo myself, so that's how I learned the basics of assembler. I left the ZX scene in 1995, and I'm still a bit nostalgic about those times. I discovered the PC scene being rather different from what I've known before, and it took me some time to adapt to the new machine. In '96 with a couple of friends we formed a little group and tryied to make some little demo, and even though we managed to do so, we were just too much inexperien- ced. Some of us lost interest in the scene, and later we split up... As I still was a demo addict ;-) I continued to follow the happenings on the scene, and to develop my coding skills, but as the time passed on I actually stopped coding as such, mainly because I didn't have any contacts with the local scene, and actually haven't known anyone really interested in democoding here. Thanks to the Internet in '98 I got in touch with Peon and they accepted me as a coder.
